When you reduce carbohydrates, you
sometimes have these symptoms as your body’s metabolism adjusts to
burning stored fat. The 1st few days of fatigue will go away as
your body adjusts and you will feel more energetic than ever. If
not, there may be an electrolyte imbalance from either potassium,
sodium, calcium, magnesium or from increased water intake.
It happens because of fiber – take Konsyl caplets from the pharmacy. Do not leave out fruit,
vegetables
or bread, as they all have fiber.
Your cholesterol levels should go
down during the 1st month, perhaps as much as 100 points!
Try adding a bit more water when
mixing; 12-20 oz. is ok.
No. This is in addition to anything
else you drink.
Try
Digestive Enzymes. You can purchase them from us.
You can try the 4-2-3-1
Protein Power punch – The first day do 4 lite protein supplements.
The second day, have only 2 supplements. Three on the third day
and one on the fourth day. Repeat this pattern for 4 consecutive days.
Most clients lose 3.5 lbs. in 8 days. Or you can call the
clinic for more "plateau breakers."
Try mixing it with:
A. Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup.
B. A package of Before & After Strawberry/Banana Jello + 8
strawberries
or some pineapple chunks or some peaches, all make a great shake!
C. Any of our protein flavors.
A Dietician is in the process of
correcting that, but in the meantime, you can figure it from the
fact that you will be eating 4-6 ounces of meat and 4 ounces of
vegetables per meal.
You are to VARY your meals, a key
part of keeping the metabolism revved up!
Use Eggbeaters (0 Fat, 0 Cholesterol) rather than real eggs (4 grams
of Fat).
Yes – but
caffeine is an appetite stimulant and it will make your blood
sugar a little unstable.
The main thing is to not mix this stimulant with an herb that is
also a stimulant.
No. These products have too
many carbs, and processed differently.
Your body
will burn the alcohol as a fuel source before it burns the stored
fat.
It takes 3 days to get back into the
diet phase.
Can I use Atkins and other low carb
products?
No. We are low fat diet program and
most of the Atkins products and others are high in fat while
being low in carbs. In most instances, the chemistry of the
products is not right for this program.
Fresh, un-processed foods are better.
